This laundry room floor had to pop. It had to resist bleach and stain remover, too.
Fourteen years ago, Gaye Goodman (link here) taught me to acid stain like watercolor painting. The respect she showed me in 2008 meant a lot to me. By 2019 matching her style in a laundry room seemed like an easy day…I was dead wrong.
I thought after thousands of floors we were past figuring things out with samples. None were bold enough though. It took a THIN-FINISH™️ overlay and acrylic sealer to get this bold look (Our trademark HardWear Floors are made much differently.)
