We hand-trowel a special water-proof cement-based material to create what looks like a cast concrete shower without the high cost, hairline cracks, and leaks one could expect with that. This may be the best way to make a shower. The floor here transitions from polished concrete to poly-aspartic coating with an anti-skid additive.
