Retrofitting a Sealed Floor with HardWear Finish
Most sealed concrete floors do not age well. This apartment sales office was not different. When (not if) the concrete sealer wears off, it looks more like a torn tuxedo than jeans. Our solution here was to retrofit our HardWear Finish. First we remove the existing sealer and stain. Once the cream of the concrete is ground off, it’s like a blank canvas. New acid stain makes it imperfect in new and more charming ways. Instead of sealer, we chemically harden the concrete, continue sanding it with progressively finer abrasives, and stain-guard the polished concrete floor with Ameripolish 3D SP and SR2

When stained concrete is covered in a plastic coating it will show wear and tear like this office floor.
We wet sand the floor to remove the old sealer.
Then we diamond-polish and stain the fresh concrete.
The end result
A beautifully crafted Stained + Polished Concrete floor.
