Resin Quartz Overlay
If ever a floor needed some TLC, it was this Cedar Park HOA’s poolside activity center. There were issues with water mitigation, drainage, worries about the slick flooring and frankly, it looked bad. This space is used by guests of the pool so we needed to use a material that could get wet and often. Resin is one of the most chemically resistant materials man has devised while quartz is harder than steel. Together they make an amazing floor.

To make this floor look and perform as the clients need it to we first profiled the concrete with very course abrasives making the surface rough enough for the overlay to adhere. We then make any repairs the concrete may need, such as holes filled, drains cuts evened out or patching where needed. Then we add a moisture vapor transmission barrier.
