Most surfaces get painted. Then they peel. ReFresco is something different — a cement-based resurfacing system that bonds to the surface, holds color permanently, and keeps every last bit of original texture intact.
These boulders were old and faded — we brought them back to life.
ReFresco was the perfect solution. It goes on like paint, but it's actually a thin, integrally colored cement. That means the color runs through the material — it doesn't just sit on top, and it can be stained like concrete. It bonds to the masonry beneath it, holds up to sun, water, and weather, and keeps every ridge and contour of the original surface exactly as it was.

The color holds the test of time.
Most surface treatments are fighting a losing battle with the sun. Paints and water-based stains sit on the surface of the material, and UV exposure slowly wins out. ReFresco is different because the color isn't a coating; it's built into the cement itself. There's nothing on the surface to bleach out. A driveway or pool feature done with ReFresco looks the same five summers from now as it does the day we finish it.
It follows the original texture and it is a version of a cement based overlay.
Unlike many other cement-based overlays, ReFresco goes on thin enough that none of the shape/texture gets buried. What you had before is still there. It just looks like the best version of itself.

Standard concrete paints and exterior stains weren't really designed for masonry or to stick as well as refreco does. ReFresco was designed for exterior masonry surfaces and concrete, with its tenacious bond, it hold up to temperature swings, direct sun, foot traffic, and time. It's not marginally more durable. It's in a different category entirely than concrete paints and water based stains.
What is the realistic upkeep? While not strictly required, we recommend a professional reseal every 3–7 years based on usage to keep the surfaces looking their best and maintain their protective properties.
